Joyfully Together: Anger, Rage, Love (LGBTQ History Month with Buddhists Across Traditions)
February 27 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
About this event
To mark both LGBTQ History Month and US Black History Month, Buddhists Across Traditions will be hosting a series of events entitled Joyfully Together, gathering Buddhist and Mindfulness teachers from the LGBTQ and Black communities in discussion.
Is this for me?
Absolutely! All are welcome. This event is for all those who wish to hear from leading LGBTQ and Black voices in the global Buddhist community.
What can I expect?
This is the second event in the series, with the theme of Anger, Rage, Love, addressing the politics of anger which have infused every institutional and cultural sphere. The conversation will resonate with a variety of people: young adults, activists, political organisers, Buddhists, POC and those living in marginalized bodies. Speakers include Ruth King and Lama Rod.
