Exploring the Four Noble Truths with Venerable Robina (Day 1)
March 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
About the Teaching
The first discourse given by the Buddha after attaining Enlightenment was the teaching on the Four Noble Truths. As well as establishing the fundamental Buddhist analysis of the human condition, this teaching provides the framework for all of the Buddha’s subsequent discourses delivered throughout his 40-year-long career. The Four Noble Truths have therefore provided the philosophical bedrock for successive generations of Buddhist masters across all traditions; understanding them is essential for anyone who is interested in pursuing the Buddhist path.
Is this for me?
Absolutely! If you are new to Buddhism, these teachings will give you a solid introduction to the theory behind the practice. And if you are already a Buddhist practitioner, Venerable Robina will help reenforce and clarify your understanding of the Four Noble Truths.
What can I expect?
A vibrant exposition of a central Buddhist teaching by a uniquely dynamic teacher.
