Enlightening Activities of Arya Tara
June 13 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm
About the Teaching
Arya Tara is a manifestation of the activities of loving kindness, compassion, and wisdom of all the buddhas. She is not only swift in her enlightening activities, bestowing favourable conditions for our practice, but even more importantly, dependence on her also generates a mind of loving kindness and compassion. In our practices of the path to enlightenment and when engaging in projects for the purpose of sentient beings’ welfare and liberation, obstacles can arise. To prevent and pacify these obstacles, the dependence on Arya Tara is often advised as well. Geshe Namdak has kindly agreed to explain the Praises of the Twenty-One Taras, give basic advice on how to do the Four-mandala Offering to Tara and also to give the oral transmissions of these two practices.
