About the teaching
During this course we will come to understand the most important aspects of the path to enlightenment. We will see that the stronger our compassion is for others, the more courageous the bodhicitta attitude of attaining enlightenment becomes. If this gets combined with emptiness, the view of ultimate reality, it becomes even more powerful.

Is this for me?
This class is suitable for those who have a basic understanding of Buddhist teachings, for example, by having completed Buddhist Meditation 101 or Buddhism in a Nutshell.

What can I expect?
You’ll learn how to generate these most constructive states of mind that exists in our human potential. Geshe Namdak will guide us through Gyalse Tokme Zangpo’s 37-Practices of Bodhisattvas, one of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s favourite mind training texts.

About the teacher
Our Resident Teacher, Geshe Tenzin Namdak, was given full ordination by HH the Dalai Lama and completed the twenty-year Geshe degree. A Dutch citizen, he teaches in English and is known for his warm, gentle and inclusive style.

Key terms
Bodhichitta: the ‘mind of enlightenment’, an unwavering aspiration to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings.
