About this Course
Basic Programme is an in-depth, 5-year study programme on Buddhist philosophy and practice that has been developed by FPMT. A new cycle of Basic Programme was launched at Jamyang Buddhist Centre in October 2020.
If you missed the initial registration in 2020, you will have the opportunity join the current student cohort by enrolling for the second subject, Tenets, later this year. Please sign up to our newsletter to receive updates on registration details.
In the meantime, you can follow along with teaching sessions of the first subject, Stages of the Path, which we will be live-streaming on our YouTube channel. The topic of this session is Refuge & Karma.
Is this for me?
Basic Programme is an advanced course. Students who wish to follow the teaching sessions will benefit from having first completed an intermediate level course, such as Discovering Buddhism.
- Saturday 6 March | 10:00 – 16:30
- Sunday 7 March | 10:00 – 15:30
